Dear Mr Fowler

I am extremely disappointed with your letter on Monday 6th of June . the centre heating system have been out of order for two weeks.I have sent a letter to you and ask you to find someone to repair it immediately.
Unfortunately, you are unable to send someone to repair it until next month.You asked me to pay the repair fees if I choose to do this.Your suggestion is totally unacceptable. You are my landlord. That is your responsibility to do it. Our contract has made it very clear to show that rent is include all.

In the winter, I feel very sick without centre heating. It caused me so many problems.I would like to ask you once again. Please find someone to do it immediately.Otherwise, I may take an legal action or demand compensition.I am looking forward to hearing from you very soon.

I lost my back-pack that is black, make of cotton with two long straps. It was made in Switzerland.

On Monday afternoon the 6th of June,I was shopping at West Field shopping centre, Shepherd Bush north of London.

I have a lunch at a Japanese Sushi Bar. I left my bag on my seat and went to get my drink. just one minute after, when I return to my table.I found my bag had been missing.I really don't know what happened.

My bag which contained a Cannon SLR Digital camera with a soft cotton case.A black leather LV wallet with my Natwest Bank card , driving licence and include £ 150 cash inside.The most important for me is my Bank card and without any cash.I am extremely worry about my next journey.

New take-away restaurant upset residents

Dear Sir/Madam

I am writing to you to complain about Brown's Fish Bar Take Away restaurant which is newly opened in Oak Lane

Residents in Oak Lane had a meeting at the community Centre yesterday.We tried to discus the problems that caused by Brown's Fish Bar.

Since the new take away restaurant opened recently, we have found lot of problems around this area. They made huge of noise such as screaming, shouting.and auguring.at midnight.People can not sleep and get annoyed.

In the morning, we also find the litter dropped everywhere in the street. some are broken by wild cats and dogs.Sometimes, the rubbish bin is full and uncovered.You imagine the smell how awful and unhealthy is.

We have phoned the council many times and asked them to take an action to resolve the problems, unfortunately, the council have done nothing at all.

In fact, we wish we could have a clean ,peaceful, and a better environment in this area.We would grateful if you could  take an action immediately to discus this matter that cause by the restaurant.

I am looking forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.

Writing Practice For ESOL L1 (A report on Brian North)

 A report on Brian North case

Yesterday, we held a meeting with a police officer, social workers and shops managers in community centre , Bermondsey. We've took two hours to discussed Brian North who is a 14 years old boy has committed burglary offence ,has escaped jail and walked free from court.

Brian North has stolen many goods from the shops and has caused damage totalling £60.000 in the last two years.They can not lock him up because of his age. He is too young to be sentence or put in the prison.He has been committing burglary again and again.

Yesterday's meeting, we were astonishing about the trial. We asked ourselves why the court let him walked free so many times and the government had done nothing in this case? Even though he is a young offender, he should be punishment in a special custody or send to jail where is particular for young people who has committed crimes. WE strongly believed that might be a good idea for him to learn a lesson.
