The Virgin London Marathon

The London Marathon is on Sunday 17 April 2011 .Sponsored by Virgin Money, as the Virgin London marathon.Nearly 40.000 runners take part and more than half million spectators enjoying watching the race.
The starting point of the marathon is at Blackheath Station and the finished point is at St Jame's Park The running distance is totally 26.2 miles(43km). It is absolutely brilliant.

The event has raised over millions of pounds for charity every year and hold the world record as the largest found raising in the world.
