FU is a Chinese word for good fortune, good luck

FU (a Chinese character meaning happiness ) is one of the oldest Chinese characters . It encompasses the concepts of health, wealth, safety, kindness, satisfaction, harmony, etc; all of which are what people expect and strive for .
FU involves five kinds of happiness including a good fortune, a long life, a health body, a smooth journey and a good mood. Above all, a health body is the most important because without health, one cannot enjoy any happiness at all.
FU is made up of four Chinese characters Yi ,Yi , Kou , Tian which respectively means clothing, food and land . It indicates that shelter and land represent wealth. With adequate food and clothing, people can enjoy happiness .
Safety is what people expect for smooth journey in life , without which one cannot enjoy happiness.
Only when one shows kindness to others, can she obtain hope for life. Kindness is like the gold of life, more of which will bring happiness and beauty to life.
It's vital for one to learn to be satisfied because an optimistic and satisfied person can live a happier life and enjoy longer happiness.
Harmony is the ideal state of happiness and represents people's spiritual pursuit for happiness .
